Meal Modification FAQ

1. What can I modify in my meal subscription ?

You can pause, cancel, change the delivery address and change your meal type.
A meal type is your preference between vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and eggetarian meals.

2. What happens when I pause a meal?

The meal will not be prepared and will get credited to your subscription. You can consume it before your subscription expires. Please see the table below to understand how much notice you need to give us in order to pause a meal.

3. What happens when I cancel a meal?

The canceled meal is prepared but not delivered. An additional meal will not get credited to your subscription in this case. Please note that a lot of preparation activities go into ensuring we have the freshest ingredients to prepare your meal. When a meal is cancelled, some amount of preparation has happened and unfortunately, this will result in ingredients being wasted.

Please note that meals can only be canceled after the cut-off time to pause has passed.

4. How can I switch my meal preference between vegetarian, non-vegetarian and eggetarian?

You can switch your meal preference from the settings option on the bottom–right, of the home screen. Select the “Modify Meal” option to do so.

Please note that you can change meal preferences for days (and not for particular meals).

5. By what time can a meal be modified (pause/cancel/update delivery address/change meal preference)?

Cut-off times for meal modifications are:

6. Why is there a cut-off time for pausing meals and changing meal preferences?

Delivering food that is fresh and of the best quality is a part of our central focus areas. To ensure this, we procure many ingredients just before preparations start. Thus, knowing the number of meals to be prepared in advance helps us procure the right amounts and prevent wastage.

7. Why is there a cut-off time for changing the delivery address?

To ensure timely deliveries, a lot of planning happens in the background. We plan routes and assign them to our delivery persons, who deliver to multiple clients. Thus, to ensure the best experience for all our clients, knowing the delivery locations well in advance is crucial.
